On the first week of the school holidays every summer we run a very popular holiday club for primary school age children in the area.
In 2017 our theme was “Shipwrecked” where we learned all about St Paul and the people he met. The children had loads of fun making crafts, hearing stories, singing songs, enjoying a workout and seeing a drama each morning.
The children also loved the visit every morning from Penelope Pirate who kept them fit, the Ship’s bosun who delivered the mail, and hearing the stories, singing the songs and the Family Fun Night which finished the week. Now we are looking forward to Holiday Club 2018 which is going to have an animal theme, and is called “Into the Ark”, it is a work in progress for now!
